It was an honor and pleasure to meet Skyrock on the site of Brices Crossroads National Military Park, Baldwyn/Blue Springs MS last week.
It has been a great opportunity in the game to meet some friends (foes?) in person and shake their hand. Both of our ancestors rode with Forrest.
Thank you Skyrock!!

Always enjoyed meeting players but haven't done it recently.
Any time any of you get near Quincy IL let me know, I don't drink but
can always have coffee and a chat.

That's some cool history there gents. :salute
Always been a big fan of JEB, but any CSA Cavalry history is always interesting.

It's a GREAT thing to meet other players in person!
I have found some awesome folks, great people, like gwurzel, curnutte, skyrock, etc. in person. I grew up and went to school with BIGNASDY.
There are some awesome things in this game that meeting others person to person and with a handshake that the internet can't compete with.

Nice. :)
I missed most people at the 96 AW Con in Orlando, but I did meet up with +Mako and Kanth, and we had a nice time. What a darned long time ago...
I hope to meet up with some more folks this year, as travels will take me to various areas.

Interesting... Check my avatar. There's a reason for it - though I'm not a direct descendant. It was his nephew: Robert W - who was the father of one "Bird" to whom I am directly related. It was Robert W. who left Virginia to move to Southern Illinois. That's where my Dad was born. Eventually, after DDS, he moved to the Chicago area. Nowadays, at least this branch of Robert E.'s family live on the wrong side of the line. Anyway, "Cryrock" gets flakked here enough that he must be doing something right.
