1. It would be a superb modernization to have .p / .r texts go to a tab. The text would still appear in the Legacy format right in the chat buffer, but a tab would also pop up next to "All" that says
"PM: 80hd" - for example... clicking that tab you'd see "THANKS FOR PICKING ME ON CLIMB OUT, ultra melon!!" (Or hopefully something more polite, but I am being realistic). This would allow two things...
a. You would never miss another PM in game.
b. You could switch to that tab and chat back and forth without using .p <name> or .r <--- this is huge if you have 3 or 4 different people PMing you, and would probably make life a million times easier for CMs/Special Events peeps.
2. .afk <message> functionality... so, if I type in ".afk Letting the dogs out" or something like that, when someone .p's you, the message would go to your brand new awesome chat tab (see above) but also they would get a canned response to the chat tab on their end saying "<playername> is afk right now. Message: Letting the dogs out".
If someone just does .afk it would just display the above and not the message, obviously.

No problem with the wish, in the meantime if you aren't aware, you can put PMs to their own tab if you so desire by making a tab just for them.

I didn't know that? How do you go about it?

Holy awesome, thanks guys I will check that out tonight!

The .afk part still sounds useful to me :old:

I don't like the idea of automatically having an extra window pop up when receiving a PM. Really need all of my screen real estate. As someone pointed out, we can make our own windows for PM's if we want.
However, I do think the automated AFK message would be helpful.

Perhaps "pop up" was confusing, but I am talking about tabs, it would not change any of your screen real estate.
The current tab ability (now that I have set it up) is not bad at all, but it'd still be nice to have separate tabs for each conversation, you'd see them only when you active the chat window anyway.

If they added a sensor would sound like R2-D2 on the other side. :devil

You can also click on the second tab and drag it out of the window, and have two chat windows visible at the same time.
