Title: Project CARS
Post by: GScholz on April 24, 2014, 05:44:18 AM
Project CARS or "Community Assisted Racing Simulator" is an upcoming racing title funded by the community and the developers themselves, without the financial aid of a traditional publisher. In addition to community feedback, Slightly Mad Studios have acquired the services of Ben Collins, racing driver and Top Gear's former "Stig", Nicolas Hamilton, Clio Cup and European Touring Car Cup racing driver and younger brother to Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton, and Oli Webb, former Formula Renault 3.5L and current ELMS driver.

It looks fantastic!   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBLMscFP5ec

I have a buddy involved in this and I can assure you if you go the PC version you will be very happy with the physics. He's been keeping me updated on the progress and if I ever get my wheel and pedals setup I'll be giving this a go on PC.

AFAIK,he's told me the consel version wont have quite the physics of the PC version but he can only tell me so much.

I'm one of the beta testers, what i love is they build right now Oculus Rift Support in!!
pCars is really fun to race, but for fluid 60+fps and HQ graphics (right now) you need a decent computer.
