Title: 1st Squadron ANR C.205

This C.205 served with the 1st Squadron of the 1st Fighter Group of the Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana in 1944. The striped camouflage scheme was factory-applied to some of the last aircraft built by the Macchi factory before it was put out of action by the USAAF. However it seems this scheme may not have been too popular with pilots and on some aircraft it was partially overpainted with a LW-style grey scheme.
