Title: Yak-9U in AH, which version?
Post by: perdue3 on April 29, 2014, 06:20:44 PM: Very simple, is it the VK-105 or VK-107 version? I have looked around in AH website cant find much. Any help is appreciated!

Never mind I believe it is the VK-107, confirmation would be nice though.

Post by: save on May 06, 2014, 07:57:03 AM: It made it to the campaign in the east against the Japanese, and it had 3 guns too. Resources are scarce on what level they did fight, but if the P63 ever makes it in AH so should the Yak3P.

If that count as ww2 or not could be debatable, but it was before second A-bomb.

Post by: save on May 06, 2014, 11:01:01 AM: I have researched a bit more on the Yak3p, it was the earlier engine, but with 3 cannon's that made it into Manchuria, the later 107 engine did not make it into ww2.

We must have it! Yak3 flight model with Yak3 damage absorption and 3 cannons, the MA will be such a fun place to fly in!
I want all planes that had their engine first started on the last day of WWII to be in the game, free for all in the arena. They contributed so much to the war and deserve a place in the game.

No perks. Keep them free and enable the AIM-9X loadout.

Almost forgot... and 150 Octane fuel of course!
