Title: Program Drops Out

Playing the game and BANG, lose it. Icon shows up at the bottom. Hit it and back where I was. Defragged and deleted cookies. Suggestions?

Sounds like another program is pulling your computer away from the game.

Check what else you have running in the background. Hit "cntrl" "alt" "delete" to open the task manager and sort by "CPU" watch it for a bit to see what grabs the CPU. Google what ever it is to see if it something that can be stopped.

Yep, definitely sounds like something like a virus scan or auto-update process is stealing the focus of the OS.

Study www.blackviper.com (http://www.blackviper.com) to see which processes really are needed. Get rid of the ones that aren't essential, at least shut them down during gameplay.

As others have suggested, some other program is asserting itself as the primary Windows application.  Windows then minimizes any application in the way, like ours.

Probably spyware, or malware, or a virus.  Could also be a bot.
