At the 4th and 5th of may, Holland remembers all the brave men -and women who gave their lives during the liberation of Europe in WW2 and celebrate the liberation of Holland from the German occupation in WW2. There is a special connection between the Canadian veterans along with their families and Dutch people, veterans, man and women fighting in the resistance. On many places in Holland there are Cemeteries and a special one, a Canadian warcemetary is in the east of Holland at a village called Markelo, near the place I was born and where my grandfather and father fought in the resistance. Last Sunday, the 4th of may, a Lancaster bomber did a flybye to honour the brave warriors who gave their live in WW2, trying to liberate the east of Holland.
The flybye was filmed and you can see it, if you follow the link at the bottom of this post. An awesome view and a great way of honouring all those brave man
With excuses for my somewhat poor English and a <S>
