Title: 135 Squadron Hurricane Mk II
Post by: Greebo on May 10, 2014, 02:50:34 AM
Thanks to Lyric1 for finding me the info on this aircraft.

This Hurricane Mk II was flown by Bill Sykes, an Australian flying with 135 Squadron at Mingaladon in Burma in early 1942 and features a personal kangaroo emblem. At this time RAF aircraft in the SEAC theater had not yet had the red removed from their markings.

I wonder how many friendly fire incidents it took to change over to blue and white? Very nicely executed~
