P40B from 14th Pursuit Wing, Wheeler Field, Hawaii Dec 1941. Aircraft Number 333 was stenciled in unusual oversized numbers indicating it may have been a ferry A/C. Majority of these aircraft were destroyed in Pearl Harbor Attack.

Used Olive Drab, Neutral Gray, and Insignia White.

Cool. :aok
Compared to the actual photo, your 333 looks a little small. The numbers seem in the identical spot (in relation to the roundel) at the top but the real plane's numbers extend below the bottom and look a bit wider as well.
-
Cool skin! Are there some stencil lines in the "337" that aren't on your 333?
-
Also, wasn't the U. S. Army underneath normally in black?

I have never seen this occasion, but I may be wrong. I know for a fact that it was white on this A/C as all the A/C with the 14th Pursuit Wing had white markings, including "US Army"

I believe this is true. Stands to reason that if I can clearly see the stars under the wings in this photo, white text would also show.

Also, be sure to add the periods to the "U.S.".

However doing some further searching, it's possible that it may have actually been ANA605 Insignia Blue after 1940.
Either way, it was most definitely not white. And, as Devil 505 said, the stencil had periods in U.S. Also note how large the text is in these images.

Ghost, I love the richness of your colors & lines in your skin. If I ever get around to posting some I've done, we share that same style.

Here we go, from my post on Devil 505's thread:
It's part of Spec 98-24105-P, information available here:
http://librarum.org/book/31199/37
"Their markings were to conform to Spec 98-24105-P and amendments, except that the marking 'U.S. Army' on the under surface of the wing was to be applied with blue, Shade 47 of Bulletin No. 41. All other exterior markings were to be applied with either red, black or blue, Shades 45, 44 and 47 of Bulletin No. 41."
Shade 47 is the same as ANA605 Insignia Blue per Bulletin No. 157.
So yeah, the U.S. Army stencil should be the same color blue as the roundel.

The text underneath still needs some work. Check out Devil 505's for the general appearance of the stencil.

Yes, the text is still incorrect. Should be Insignia Blue, and with the USAAF stencil font.

Also, you have very little in the way of exhaust staining whereas your oil stains are way too heavy.

Just keep in mind you should be using the top set of characters, without the stenciling. Really, the font you used originally looks like it was correct, it just wasn't the right color or size.
Also, in the second set of pics your topside color seems like it's a bit dark, though I don't know if that's lighting or not. Something to keep in mind is that the upper surfaces would fade somewhat more than the rest of the aircraft. If you're using the Simmers Paint Shop settings, that first Olive Drab on that page (RGB 60, 55, 39) is a gloss, so wouldn't be the color you want to use. I think the one you want is ANA 613 Dark Olive Drab (RGB 85, 79, 68) or possibly FS24098 Olive Drab (RGB 104, 101, 65 but keep in mind this is a semigloss so you'd want to give it a slightly increased specularity).

I love the Pearl Harbor shot, I think with the constructive criticism and improvements this could be my favorite overall P-40 skin.
