Seems like JG11 gets close to or surpasses the 40 kill mark quite regularly.  Nicely done gentlemen.  :rock  And I use that term loosely.

Successful accomplishment of the mission and getting all my boys home safe are the priorities.  The kills just fall into place if the previous are realized.  I am as happy to see the 46 assists in there, as I am the 38 victories.

Frame three would see us find Allied A-20 strike aircraft without escort.  They bravely held to their course and bombsites as we fell on them.  Allied fighters appeared on the scene some minutes later, but too late to help the already violated strike group.

Happy birthday Stampf!

Which one bro ?  The real one...or Frame 3?   :lol

Thank you very much, Nef.

Thanks AMMO.  Thank the gods for FSO - that's all there is to it.  The one place to really time travel, and make a squadron of WWII birds shine!  It's what it is all about.

FSO and Scenarios, the only reasons I still participate.

Also being in III/JG11, more immersion, camaraderie, structure and leadership as well as tactics is the reason I started participating in combat flight sims (MMOG) many years ago.

Had it for a short time awhile back, now it is here again.  Good to be home.

We were impressed how you guys stayed on target. Didn't think you guys would do much damage to the target. But after it was over the target was hit pretty hard, and a lot more fires than expected.  :salute

No reason for that.  If you could have heard our squad vox, you would have known you earned our respect for holding onto your target run.  More than one of us commented on it during and after the attack.  I always try to get the boys in a position to attack when the enemy is in their bombsites of course.  Most will break out and go defensive when they have no escort in the area.  Your steadfast determination to get ordinance on that field was admirable.

See you up.

Without an escort sir, frankly you did the best thing possible, you ignored us, kept on target, kept focus, and dealt out a lot of damage.  Frankly, you made what I think was the best possible decision.  There is little hope that you guys would have survived if you had tried to evade and then would likely not have hit your targets like you did.

Well done.
