Title: UK route changes
Post by: LCADolby on June 09, 2014, 11:38:40 AM
Thank fully the routes for connection no longer go through France/Paris knocking 10-20ms off the pings, sadly they go through a New York level 3 at 4.69.138.201 which averages 70% Transmission loss.

Why doesn't God give with both hands  :cry

Looks like he is using BT, which has never been the best ISP to use for connections to this continent.

By the way Bruv, it is not the CIA (Crazy Internet Admins), it is the NSA (Naturally Sociopathic Admins).  Get the acronym right. :)

The entire infrastructure is BT, how they can be worse than anyother UK network I'll never know.

Ignore some of the 100% it comes in on the final sample as a bug.

While I am not surprised to see Level3 dropping packets, I am completely shocked at the fact it is taking 16 hops to get out of London.  That is just ridiculous.

It takes you 4,5 hours to circumvent it in a big truck on M25 at night!

It's huge! by EU standards  :devil

Probably they put IT infra straight next to it  :D

My PP does not look much better by the way, coming from Amsterdam, circling London and then over the big splash....
