I have very low mic volume. My game settings are Voice: Mic vol all the way up. In Game Sounds: The proper mic is selected. In Windows test, normal talking only registers about 1/3 up on the scale. If I yell it then goes all the way up, but I don't want to have to yell, of course. Any suggestions appreciated. My Headset/mic is a Logitech G230, supposedly a good headset.

Go to control panel/sounds or right click the speaker icon on the taskbar and look at the recording level for the mic. Also look for a mic boost option like a check box.

Thanks FLS. The mic volume level was at 100%, but the Boost level was at 0%, so I cranked it up about 1/2 way. Hope that helps. I will post.
Thanks again!!!!

Seems to have worked. I honestly don't know what I would have done to get started in AH without you and I want you to know that your help is truly appreciated.
