I was riding shotgun on CV4 when you made that last run. Well done. We need more players like you in this game.

Was that you Chanter at about T +1:45?  Nice drop.  I watched that from the CV tower.  Boy those Axis guys looked ANGRY WITH YOU!   :salute

Hi Snake,

Ya, that was me.  After we attacked the fleet the first time, we recovered at our CV.  I re-armed and launched again to go back to look for the CV at about T+1:15, but as soon as I lifted off from our CV, a group of 61s, A6Ms and 84s (Unforgiven I think?)  started harassing our fleet, so I spent about 15 minutes orbiting, trying not to become a target.  Once they left, I landed, re-armed and took off again at T+1:30.  MachNix was calculating my time to target to be about 15 minutes, so I figured that if I could find the fleet, hit it quickly and put the coals on for home, I'd have just enough time before the frame ended.

I saw the CV just as I was about to call it off and reverse for home while I still had time.  At first glance I didn't see any CAP so I thought I would be able to come at the boat head on, drop and scream for home.  Once I closed in though, I saw all the dots over head so I put my nose on broadside and hoped for the best, that I could at least have a crack at dropping on it.  Luckily I was able to get through and the drop was good.

I agree with you though - I wasn't feeling a lot of love in the area at that moment.  :)
