"I guess"   :headscratch:

A boat is a pleasure/headache, not an investment...prolly didn't need to tell you that.

Good luck, looks great  :aok

Interesting choice for a fishing vessel. That looks more like a speed boat and just from the looks I would guess it's not very stable platform for walking around with a fishing rod.

Its a bass boat Mr R, much more stable than you'd expect. That boat right there will run 52 - 55 mph for the longer runs - the more expensive ones will run upwards of 70mph.

View from the front (sorry, got excited and a lot of the pics didnt come out very well)

Bass Pro Shops? I hope you are not doing their easy financing plan. In case you haven't done the math you will pay almost exactly double the asking price when purchased with their "affordable" payment plan.  Either way enjoy. It looks like fun!  :aok

Yup, Bass Pro Shop - and no, definitely not using their finance plan - got a good deal on a loan from my bank (2.99% interest, paying it back over 5 years). We put 9,990 down, if you go near the 10k mark, they have to report to the IRS etc, so we went in just below.

Bass boats are very stable. Most of all glass ones like this. They are designed to be casting platforms, with the added fun of buzzing around at warp fact 9. I always had V-Hulls cause I fished a lot of big water and northern Lakes but I fished on many Bass boats. I miss owning a boat even if they are an expensive luxury. Gawd Ive had good times fishing on my boats with my Pals.

How do you put a monetary value on that? And what good is life without getting a few toys and doing what you love to do?

Super stoked, just waiting for Saturday to arrive so I can collect. Wife says "we'll wait till the following Saturday to take her out" yeah right, thats going to happen. Sunday will be a few hours getting used to the boat, and getting some fishing done.

Bailey, anytime brother - just need a heads up so I can set up guest room.

I used to tell my father that I would never buy a boat unless I could "afford it".  He laughed and said "Then you'll never own a boat".  I bought my first a couple of months ago.

Really nice boat man.

I would never finance a boat though...going back to my original comment.
