Title: Windowed Mode
Post by: xPoisonx on June 16, 2014, 02:31:47 PM
Is there a way to run ah in windowed mode? I like to tab out a lot on climbout and sometimes it'll crash my game when I tab back in. Didn't see any options for it.

Windowed mode is not an option.

Is there a reason why? Or did they just never update it?

Because just like texting a driving, distractions get you killed!

Actually, I have no idea but it sounded good

True, 25% of my deaths are me tabbing back in to find myself spinning towards the ground at 500mph.

Hitech decided that he didn't want the game to run in Window mode. I don't remember if he gave a reason, but it was a decision he made, not an over site.

I wonder why. Maybe to prevent people like me from always being afk lol.

Windowed mode places about 75% more load on the computer and can easily render the game unplayable.

It really is just meant to be a debug tool.

If you are crashing when you alt-tab, there is something wrong with the game configuration.  Usually it is a good indicator there is something interfering with the game resource management.
