Been playing AH for about 5 months. Have had issues every once in a while where I get discoed, and have a few questions.
1. What address do I tell pingplotter to "ping."
2. Once I have the results from the address that is supposed to be pinged, how the heck do I post it?
Thanks in advance <S>

Ping Plotter results

Hop #5, where the packet loss starts, is in your ISP's network. You need to get this to them and see if they are having issues.
Forget the first line of support at your ISP, they will only check you local connection. You need support beyond that first line.
The packet loss on the next to last hope is happening on the return trip in your ISP's network as well.
Ping Plotter and other such utilities can only show the path to the destination. Any errors on the return trip are always show at the last or next to the last hop.

Great, Thanks. I have SuddenLink as my ISP. I'll get with em and start digging. THanks for the help!

Good luck with it. Be sure to have your Ping Plot data available for them. You might have to force it down their throats. Just be gentle. I do not want to read about it in the national news. :)
Also be aware, this could simply be your ISP doing maintenance, which means it is a temporary condition.
