Saw this awesome indie sci-fi film this weekend. If you like smart, dark sci-fi then you should check out The Machine. Slow paced (think Blade Runner), great dark atmosphere, awesome effects (especially for an indie) and superb performances by the actors.

Thinking of buying it on Amazon for $12.

If you enjoyed Blade Runner you'll enjoy The Machine as well. The subject matter is similar, and the moodiness and pacing too. It could almost be a sort of prequel to the dystopian Blade Runner future.

AH people liked Blade Runner only because it included dreaming about sheep

I rented it last night. I gave it 2 1/2 stars out of 4. To bad it didnt have more budget but it was a pretty good Indie.

I would have given it 3/4. I find that I like indie films more than the big studio productions these days. It's a sad state of affairs.

Hve you watched Halo 4's "Forward Unto Dawn" yet? Easily a 3 star Indie and soon to be a Major TV production.
