We had just taken a field and were headed north. I turned the boat I was flyin from to the next target. THen I read what I MISTOOK for sarcasm, "Please don't turn the boat unless you are ON it, thank you." Didn't realize you were serious, Dedhead, so I responded "Please learn to land, you're welcome"
WasNOT tryin to be a "Richard", just really thought you were messin with me, so I responded as I did. Everyone seemed to agree I was Captain Ahole, so, Imsorry to ded and all who had to witness my mouth :uhoh

Probably a good idea to announce course change on country channel prior. It's the unexpected that'll kill ya.

no problem bro :aok

Actually, your advise is spot on even though you were being a smarty pants. With 50-100 potential captains on your side, its a good idea to expect the cv to turn at every takeoff and landing, and fly accordingly. Its polite to announce a turn but the reality is that won't happen so every approach needs to made with a plan to handle an unexpected turn.

I will announce my CV turns only when pilot start calling the ball :bolt:

The boat never turns unless I'm taking off heavy or on short final missing half a wing................

:aok
A tasteful mea culpa and public apology.

Well if level bombers are bearing down on the cv I'll turn it without warning usually.

Now in the text buffer
SYSTEM:Floob has changed bearing task group 666
Or some such...
Got be a better warning than nowt.
Have to admit a quick call on local is fantastic when it happens.

No one would fault you for that (or shouldn't).

Base is flashing, it's a bright red blinking light, boat's probably going to turn :D
If it's not under attack, ya, it's a good idea to call the turn.
