Just wanted to check in (I still check the forums regularly, but almost never post) with anyone who is still around that I used to fly with in the 4th FG, 80th FS and even the REALLY old 475th FG, or just remember me from the forums and arenas- I not only may be returning before too long to the cartoon skies, but I will have a new co-pilot if/when I do!
Ivory Louise Roman was born at 1642 EST today, July 10th, weighing in at 7 pounds 11 ounces and measuring 21 inches. Mommy was in labor for FOUR DAYS (since 0230 on Monday the 7th), but everyone is healthy and doing fine.
Now I just hope the pic tag works, it's been a long time since I tried to link one...

Thanks for the wishes all, she is an angel! She does the usual screaming when she is hungry or gets changed, but otherwise, she is so quiet and calm that it's almost eerie. She turns her head and look whenever she hears my voice and I'm not holding her, which drives her mother NUTS, so I already know I've got a Daddy's Girl on my hands. Fine with me!
Today my brother in law, who is also an avid simmer (though modern jets), came to visit in the hospital- and asked how long until I'd be putting a seat behind me so she could be my RIO. My father in law has already given her a Tuskeegee Airmen hat for her room and several models to hang from the ceiling (he's retired Air Force), and my father bought her a red onesey because that's the color of his dad's unit (mt grandpa was 4th FG for those who didn't know me that well). She's gonna be a plane crazy kid, or there's gonna be a lot of disappointed men in her life. :)
