Title: Axis interceptors over Calais
Post by: Nefarious on July 12, 2014, 09:42:48 AM
You got a free B-24 last night, I jumped back to my guns and started a shootout with a 110. He turned my lead ship into a fireball and I proceeded to bailout, well I must have blown up before I could and then jumped from my second ship. Im not sure how I did it but I must have bailed from 3rd ship too. I was upset to say the least.

My guys continued to fight on but casualties were high. Only 4 of my guys with 9 total ships returned or at least what I heard as I logged. Still havent checked logs. Good attack axis.

Lots of crazy lag Nef.  You weren't alone.  Lag in the air, on vox, even in text buffer.  A busy little patch of sky.

Wish some CO's would get with their boys about friendly fire.  'BlkMaro' was in on what would have been his 6th victory of the night when he was fragged by K10 - spraying like a garden hose with a 110.  Come on guys.

On the other side of the coin,...I've heard this can't be done.  Well...it can.  It's not easy and Lady luck had as much to play in it as the man in the pit, I am sure:

Gear down landing with No elevators, No rudder, No engine.

No...you may not have my scalp, nor my FockeWulf.
