I took delivery of my replacement Mustang today and I am so excited - I doubt I will sleep tonight. This car is NICE.

Of all the Shelby's I have looked inside (though I haven't actually sat in one), I have always seen something saying Shelby. I can't make out the steering wheel or the glove box/airbag lettering too well. That's why I asked. :o

Yup - the car is definitely heavier. The GT just behaved more "raw". Also while that 4.6 was making really good power, the Shelby makes better torque and you certainly know it. The Shelby has a really tall rear end gear with a matched Tremec. Shat, at 55 mph, I am cruising at 1000 RPM in 6th gear! The GT was whining at that speed. This Shelby has the SVT track pack option with adjustable suspension and steering and as heavy as the car is, it feels solid in corners. I am pretty impressed - no under steer like my GT had before I upgraded the suspension in it.

Yea, gas is expensive in Germany. However, as an employee of DoD on orders here, I purchase fuel at a much cheaper rate. 93 Octane is just a little over $4.00 a gallon but I am limited to 400 liters per month. Google "Status of Forces Agreement Germany"

400 liters should be enough for one full gas tank in this car. You may have to carry drop tanks if you want to drive to Berlin though :)

btw, why are there cobras everywhere on this car? Shouldn't a prancing pony be more appropriate?

So, you get one flight in a Bf109 per month.

bozon, 400 l. = 88 Igal or 105 USgal. Mustang fuel tank is 16 gal.

I knew a guy in the Mod Police based with the US in Ruislip. He used to get US pricedfuel for his 6 litre A8. Only way he could afford to run it. And that was prior to UK charging Ave £1.40 litre sans plomb
