P-38 would blast that mossie apart in a heartbeat if they ever had to fight.

Let it come and face the mossie head on like a man!
P.S.
You are wrong.

That has not been my experience in AH. P-38J and L hold the advantage in a fighter vs fighter encounter, but not by all that much. Mossie VI has the advantage over the P-38G by a larger margin at AH combat altitudes.

Two incredible creations from allied nations flying in formation 60 years after the conflict that lead to their creation at considerable expense, dedication, preservation and restoration and all you can say is basically my Dad would beat your Dad up in a fight.
Why don't you try to evolve beyond the level of schoolboy.

Great picture of two great aircraft. Growing up i always had a soft spot for the Mossie, national pride for creating such a magnificent aircraft out of the simplest materials. I also loved the shape of the lightning.
I just wish i could fly either of them as they deserve to be flown in the game i suck in both lol.
