Title: Joystick upgrade
Post by: xPoisonx on July 20, 2014, 04:15:51 PM
I've been using the extreme 3d pro for all flight sims for awhile, been through 3 of them so far. After a few months they stop centering correctly and start to lean without input, which can get very annoying

Instead of buying another one I want to just upgrade to one that will last me awhile, but it has to be twisty and have a throttle because I have no desk space for a separate throttle. Any suggestions?

The smoothest twisty I've ever used is the Microsoft Precision Pro USB. You can find em on Ebay for >$30. Great stick.

My wingie uses a Thrustmaster 1600 and has had good results. He did however twist it too hard and broke it. He's a former football player.

Ive had CH products now for about 3 years and i love them, more pricey than a twisty sick, given you need to purchase a stick, pedals and throttle is optional, but no issues yet.the twisty all in one sticks never seemed to last more than a few month.  i guess it also depends on what you like to do in the game, fighter,gv, buffs.my money is on CH! :aok :salute
