Here is a list of Nvidia programs running in the background on my computer:

Do I actually need any of these running when playing Aces High?

780Ti Reference here:
I only have four processes. I uninstalled "The Nvidia Experience". It isn't needed, so if you have it listed, I would start there.

I just downloaded the drivers
That experience thing looked nice but so do i :old:

I actually have the experience thing and use it, I have a 760 and the optimize option on it (basically just benchmarks and sets graphic qualities on all your games) and it actually works pretty well. No idea if it would benefit most of the AH players though.

Wish I knew which one that was. Freakin' Microsoft gives you all those generic names in the processes tab to make it difficult for you to turn them off.

This will help: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx

I use EVGA Precision for monitoring and it has a smaller footprint.

Not sure of that bro, but this is what I have running (Maybe this will help you?):

Thank you sirs. I will look into this further. But first, some refreshments.

The optimize feature of the GeForce Experience is nice if you're lazy or don't know really anything about the different graphic options but it really offers nothing that you can't do yourself with the in-game settings. The only real benefit in my opinion of installing and using GeForce Experience is to use the ShadowPlay video capture program.

Yes, I use the shadowplay feature is the main reason I have it. But you hit the nail on the head, I am lazy and have quite a few games so I just hit that easy "optimize" button. :rofl
Seems to work pretty well though, in regards to setting the qualities for my system IMO.

How had Shadow Play developed? I had issues with it but could tell the codec had legs.

Hehehe...I'm lazy too and I tend to use the optimization feature as well for games I don't use SweetFX or ENB on. I'm actually pleasantly surprised how well it does optimize the graphic settings, on a couple of games it's actually done a better job than the settings I manually set and not only did it provide a FPS gain, it also made the game look better (Batman Arkham Origins).

I believe it's still technically in 'beta' but Nvidia keeps on improving and providing new features for it. Unfortunately, it still doesn't have multi-monitor support but I believe that is in the pipeline if what I've read on the forums is correct. What issues were you having?

On the topic of shadowplay, was astounded how high the videos were in memory. A 15 minute video of Assassins Creed 4 at medium quality was 3.7 GB, at high quality was almost 7GB.
Scary. :uhoh

I have it set to record the last 30 seconds before and going forward. that helps keep low. however delete files you dont need. or make avi they will be a lot smaller.

The recorded video isn't compressed.
