How do I uninstall this *#(%# game?
-
Use the uninstaller.
-
It is usually a 12 step process but, really, admitting your having a problem is the first step.
-
Smack head against wall until you feel funny.
-
i've used happily control panel in windows. there's a "program and features" portion that will uninstall software.
-
If you don't see an uninstall link in the AH folder you can go to Windows Control Panel/Programs and Features to uninstall Aces High.
-
cant you just delete the HTC folder ?
-
By never installing it in the first place
We don't need negativity like yours :aok

Hope it wasn't smack-talk that made you want to quit the game. Some people take this game way too serious and think that they're on the HTC payroll.
Good luck.

Thanks. I know nothing about how to do stuff like this on computers. I have the game installed currently on three pc's and definitely need to remove from one. I am on the fence about keeping my account. I seriously need to weigh the enjoyment vs the amount of frustration this game causes me. Has nothing to do with the community, smack talk, FSO or anything else. Thanks.

Have you tried training?

What is your primary source of frustration? You'd be surprised how much help you can get.

Okay, I'm back on my soapbox....
Our trainers are great sticks and far, far more patient than I am. AH has zero formal process of 'on-boarding' two-weekers. And likely, the original poster has been here much longer than two-weeks though the point remains. Our current training plan isn't even as good as the Imperial Japanese military at training Kamikaze pilots. They at least couldn't solo until they had 10-hours.
We need to address this. AH needs to respond to other threads and come up with a couple ideas that work. At least give it a try. Their attitude of 'we've been doing this since 1953 and we aren't changing now!' isn't cutting it. :bhead
Okay, stop throwing stuff. I'll get off my soapbox.

What does HTC need to address? We don't yet know what the OP is frustrated by.
Aces High has a training corps. All players have the option to request training. Instead of a one size fits all mandatory "training" level Aces High has people that can evaluate your current level and give specific individual instruction to help you improve.
-
....and if you use a "mandatory" training setup how long do you think players would stay? After all , all they want to do is fly and shoot stuff, NOT spend all this time training.
Boo, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. If they don't want training you cant make them train.

We would hope any player would contact us or a trainer, before getting frustrated to the point of wanting to remove the game and account. There is a lot of help available for Aces High.
Yes, it is a challenging game/sim to become proficient at.
To delete the game, you can either run the uninstaller, located in the Windows control panel under "Programs and Features". Or you can run the uninstaller directly by accessing "Aces High" from the Windows "Start" menu.
