In the sound folder is a file called cleared.txt file. I did a search and could not find ant information on this file on the forum.
When installing sound packs, you run into older or newer versions.
Does the cleared.txt file go with the sound pack or does it go with the AH software version or is it needed at all?

It seems to come with the game itself.

Thanks Bizman for the reply.

That file is a default file the game installer creates. Do not remove it.

Skuzzy, I think I ended up with a cleared.txt file from a sound pack . Is it worth uninstalling the game and do a fresh install to get the original file back?

The "cleared.txt" file is part of the regular install of the game. It should be there and never removed.

I don't have "cleared.txt" in my sounds folder...I have "cleaned.txt". I'm guessing CLEANED.txt is the file we're talking about.

Oops, my bad. You are correct.

I started the bad.
Sorry.

What if I remove it and put it right back. :neener:

Is that something philosophical like "if nobody hears a falling tree...?"
