The Ki 102b, "Randy", looks like a good ground attack plane. It's faster than than the 87's, larger gun 57mm, and is something new.
-
It saw very limited service, with most examples being held on the Japanese mainland.
Ki-45 would be a far more valuable addition if you want a Japanese twin-engine heavy fighter.

Add Ki-45 first of course. Both at the same time even better!
-
+1 to both, we need more twin engine AC to fly. :D

I give thee the Beaufighter! :devil
A much better plane than any of your crummy Japanese twin-engine fighters :)

It seems to have lost its second engine....

Then I would have another Brit twin engine fighter to fly :D

Nah, he just thinks that airplanes should look like a pile of spare parts acquired from a variety of automotive and aviation sources, like his preferred B-17G does.

The Raiden would be cool :aok
For ground attack, the Hs 129 might be fun. It's underpowered, but it's tough, and the 75mm it carried was absolutely lethal.

I'd love to see the hs 129 in ah. It had a nice selection of cannon load outs.

As long as it doesn't fly like our ME410 :)

What we need is the HE 219 uhu. That plane would be delicious with a pair of mk103s.
It was a mosquito killer :t

The Me410 would be a light ballerina, dancing on the clouds in comparison to the Hs129.

Except not. Sorry, but the Mossie kills are fabricated.
Mossies would either easily out run it (Mk XVI) or just plain demolish it (Mk VI)

Another night fighter request for a game with no night.
During the day time the Mossie would most likely own the 219. And all we have is day time. Remember that night fighters work by sneaking up behind (or beneath) someone and hosing them down with heavy cannon. Try that trick with the sun in your eyes. :lol

Yeah, compared to the 410, the 129 is a brick. And not just your regular brick, we're talking tungsten brick. But it would still be fun with the load outs available.
-
Bite your tongue, gentlemen! The 410 is a light, graceful thing of beauty that flies like a dream! Your insults to this wonder weapon have been noted! :old:
Now if you will excuse me....I need to go back to my previous activities I paused to address this grave insult. My crack pipe is calling to me.

The cannons most used by the Hs-129 were the MK101 and MK103. They shot the same carbide core round at high velocity, which at sub 100m would penetrate the armor of Russian tanks. The MK103 had a higher rate of fire and lower recoil. There was a constant danger of slapping your tail against the tank and auguring as you pulled up from the gun run. Any approach but that sub 100m method, the round bounced off. Some of the 190 groups who worked with the Hs-129 groups used the same method to great effect killing tanks with rockets in the open terrain against the Russians.
You can test this offline with the Ju-87 G2 sub 100 shooting T34 in the side with the twin BK 3,7. Even the BK 3,7 was tested as a single cannon for the Hs-129. The BK 7,5 saw service in limited numbers maybe 25 planes. But, killed all Russian tanks effectively. One sortie against a T34, the 75mm round blew a 3ft dia. hole in it's side. Just too few, too late.
In the MA the Hs-129 B2 with 30mm would become "Commander Mode" target practice for tanks and wirbel fodder while trying to line up for a sub 100 shot in the side. The Hs-129 B3 with the BK 7,5 in theory, could stand off and nail wirbels, maybe.....

I don't necessarily want to shoot things with it bustr... I just want a cannon that extends out 10ft past my nose. :D And since we'll need to close to sub 100yd ranges, how about we get HT to put a bayonet lug on that beast? Could prove really handy when "troops are running".
-
The BK 7,5 could kill tanks at 1000yds.
Ideally from 1500m you could get off 4 rounds by about 400m.
The greatest loss of life in the Hs-129 was ramming tanks by accident. But, whatever does it for your snossage......

There are more than enough cannon super planes in the mix.

Not a single plane mentioned would be super, yes they have cannons but most would just be meat on the table for any fighter!
The 219 would be interesting but it never met it's rated speeds! the 129 might be fun and an alternative to the stuka but as Bustr already said it would likely be killed more than it kills against tanks.
The Beau and KI45 both are sorely missed, the beau operated almost everywhere and the KI would add a needed attack plane for Pacific events.
