Title: Getting clean audio from AH film/.ahf files
Post by: Skyyr on August 06, 2014, 02:07:58 PM
I've got some audio (in-game vox) from some AH film files that I want to pull out and save, but the sound of the plane's engine drowns out the vox audio to a degree. Is there a way to isolate just the vox chatter, or to remove the plane sound effects?

I believe (don't quote me) the film viewer uses the same config files as the game uses.  Go into the sound settings in the game and set the engine sounds to 0 and see if that does the trick.

Or check the option for guncam in the player during playback.

Not sure if it affects everyone's film viewer, but a bug occurs when making a shorter cut of a film, that eliminates your engine sounds.  All other engine sounds work but not your own.

You can also try adding a custom sound pack like AKDogg's.  His sound pack does not drown out vox on ahfilmviewer.  You can find it here:
