Title: When you crash
Post by: CASHEW on August 15, 2014, 05:09:55 PM
Sometimes when i'm in a 190 109 or a 51 I lose a wingtip and I nurse the bird home. Most of the time the landing may be banked a little bit to the side of the aircraft without a wingtip and when i touch down i "Drag the wingtip" even though its gone. which can lead to a crash. What im saying is. If you have parts missing, Don't just make them invisible make them totally in all aspects be gone. not only wingtips either.

+1 for the new version.

also stop planes flying at full speed in a straight flight.  that just doenst happend.  and also stopping bombers from dropping bombs under neg g.  or at an angle so steep the bomb would take off the pilot's head.

currently we can drop bombs upside down.  think it's time to stop that.

Not sure if sarcasm.  If it's not, I disagree strongly.

Keeping the gaminess of not having to worry about engine management, autotrim etc because I feel it is good, IMO the physics of flight/damage should be made to be as granular and realistic as possible.  Bring on the turbulence, bring on the down to the rivet damage model.  More physics and finer damage model is more better IMO.

If the wing is in fact dragging when it's not there (I've never noticed it but usually had my eyes on other things at the time) I give a hearty +1 that it should not.

Wiley.
