Having only flown the P51d once and p51b twice, I should triumph handily.

You need to signal P51 pilots differently.

Here ya go...

You had to use the word "best" for some reason.  I am definitely out.  Maybe next year.

If you had used "stubborn" or "dedicated"...well...maybe....

The Seahorse was carrier capable.  High stall speed made it impracticable.

Worth reading about.

Just been reading, seems there were a few modified for navy testing, but too many modifications took away the advantages. Also the airframe was not strong enough for long term carrier use. I did find out they were able to easily take off from carrier decks, and most were transported on carriers to their overseas bases, and then flew from the carrier to their fields.

Landing was the issue.

Iwo Jima made them...redundant (that's not the word I am looking for--at the edge of my mind but I am missing it--sorry).   Superfluous maybe????  Argh.   I hate being up too late.   In effect, UNNECESSARY.
