Almost every time I log onto the game, my microphone boost level is in a different spot. None of the other game settings seem to be affected but about 80% of the time, I have to adjust the mic slider. :headscratch:

This is where I set it.

Usually, it is here when I log on.

Sometimes, it winds up around here and other times stays where I left it.

We took up a collection and asked Hitech to make it so it turns yours down all the time. We really don't want to have to hear you. :neener:

Uncheck the box "Enable Auto Mic DB Boost" and you'll get control. As long as that is on, you won't have any control over the Mic DB Boost slider.

Thank you, Blooz.
Seems like a rather obvious fix that was staring me right in the face, but I'm blind in one eye and can't see out of the other. :old:

Several times a month the volume slider for my mic, or what my audience hears turns down on it's own in the game setup. I do a lot of adjustment of the general sound volume in windows for other things. I wonder if that is picked up be the game from time to time during initialization of hardware as the game is launching.
