Listen to that engine. *drools* THAT is what I want to here in here! :x
I am curious of the pilot of that 109 is still around. :headscratch: If so, I can only wonder what he'd say at the sight of his 109 flying again. And it looks like Snail won't ever see her in Germany. :(

I have no problem with it . He is a lucky man .

Because of the Swastika on the tail.

The swastika is not a problem since it is a historic aircraft.
Here's a 109G in the Luftwaffe museum in Berlin:

We have a small aviation museum close to where I live and they have a DB603 on display on a crate. Too bad they cut the engine open to show the internals so that one won't run anymore.

Isn't this the 109 that struck a pole a farmer installed in his field at the end of the runway a few years ago?

Anti-aircraft pole?

Yeah. It was lightly damaged back in '09 by some jerk landowner.

Saw this baby fly in person back around 2006 or so alongside Spits and Hurris up near Niagara Falls. I have pictures somewhere.
What an experience.

That one has been flying for a while as has Paul Allen's Emil.
You can have the one in the video for a little under 4 million dollars as it's for sale.

Just remember if you plan on buying it, don't spend your last dime you still need money for gas and the spare parts. :devil
