Title: AH Minimize with TARGETsoftware ?

I use the thrustmaster TARGET software so I will post this question here instead of help section.

I have a hat switch up positioned programed using TARGET to up or close the clipboard using the Esc key.  Left and right on the switch zooms the clipboard in and out.

Now the problem.  Sometimes and it is not often, when I press the hat switch up to bring up or close the clipboard AH minimizes just like I hit Alt-Tab. 

I have ran the TARGET event tester but never get anything but the Esc key just as it should be.

Of course it only happens at the worst times.  I can not duplicate the problem

Is there another key command that minimizes AH using the Esc key as one of the keys?  Or any other ideas?

Ctrl + Esc will do it.

You must have another button mapped to Ctrl and when you press the 2 together you get that result.

Ctrl + Esc is a windows function.

I bet that is it,  I will run a test.  Could be I have a Ctrl hold on another switch that I rarely use.

Zack I bet you have the same problem,  You have  a function that uses the Ctrl key and another using Esc and they get pressed at the same time.
I went to offline and hit Esc and Ctrl.  That was it.  FESS67 nailed this one.  Ctrl with another key like auto climb or level, can't remember which uses Ctrl.  I have a Ctrl hold on somewhere.

There are three of these key combos that can be a problem.
Alt-Tab which we all now.
Ctrl-Esc
Alt-Esc
