Thanks to Lyric1 for finding the info on this aircraft. There is a photo of it here (http://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/item/object/205022924).
After D Day the RAF's Air Despatch Letter Service shuttled mail between Normandy and England. As the first Allied airfields in France were only a few miles from enemy territory fully armed Hurricane Mk IICs were used for the job. The mail was carried in modified drop tanks that could be jettisoned in the event of interception by enemy fighters.

Those Hurri's were still trucking the mail in the winter of 44-45
This photo taken at Eindhoven. Looks to be 2 Group markings with the black spinner. D-Day stripes long gone by that time and no doubt the sky fuselage band gone as well. Wish there was enough of the image to show the serial and markings.

Thanks guys, glad you like it.
Its interesting to see they were still being used that late Guppy, although its the D Day stripes that make it an good scheme for a skin.

Well there is good news Twinboom, I'm planning on doing one some time in the next few weeks from the 167 Volksgrenadier Division. Wait....you did mean a Jagdpanzer 38 Hetzer didn't you?
