Title: what are some free good websites I can use..

To simply upload one of my films and put in YouTube or just to be able to copy onto the boards for people to see?

I am not very prominent with computer things so please explain to me like I'm 5.

I honestly don't really care for editing too much unless there is any easy way to cut the beginning and/or end off the film to make it shorter.

YouTube is your best bet.  It will even do some basic video format conversion for you.

Hahahah someone doesn't use reddit.

Well I know YouTube is cool but can I directly upload from the files to there? Do I need to change the file name? Don't I have to upload it somewhere different first?

You can upload directly to YouTube from your computer.  There is no need to upload the video files to another website or storage medium (i.e. Google Drive) before sending to YouTube, though you can do so if you wish.

If it does not work, you may want to evaluate if it is due to a PEBKAC, Layer 8 or ID-10T error.
