Title: Designate a drone to drop bombs

Possible, not wanted or impossible I am unaware.

Would it be a good thing to be able to drop a single bomb from 1 of 3 bombers?
To drop 3  4k bombs seems an awful waste.
Combinations would be even better.

Logically and from a realism standpoint, there's no reason not to have it.

From a gameplay perspective, I don't think it would be a stellar idea because a set of lancs could pretty much pork an entire front in a sortie.

I so totally want it because I would be able to destroy so much stuff!

I hate it because the enemy could do the same.

The marauding set of Lancs would draw much attention.  I have flown past many targets while sitting in tail gun.
I like the dispersed strat layout. But taking a set of Mossie16 with 4k  on a 2 hr run has the potential damage crippled by
this element.
I took a set recently and dropped 3 x 4k lumps on a city block crossroads(border lines)  Scored 6 blocks.
Maybe they had some damage before I arrived, so, not having an idea of the damage needed to knock out a single block,
I am unaware of the potential damage for 1 x 4k on 3 crossroads.  Is that information available?

The realism is for the player to invent.  The game is there to be explored no?

The game is cool as it is, but just wishin'

Already available in game.

You simply deselect the formation option, then you can drop individual bombs.

Do 3 sorties and Robert's your mothers brother  :old:
