I'd like to have the ability to lock the top turret forward on the B-25H for strafing. When the B-25H was produced, one of the changes from previous B-25s was moving the top turret forward and adding a lock mechanism that allowed the pilot to lock the turret forward to provide additional machine guns for strafing.

I well recall my Grade School Principal telling us about this very feature. He had crewed on a B-25 and claimed that, top turret locked forward and 4xfuselage package guns under pilot control, you had six pilot-controlled 50's in the glass nose version for strafing. With the hard-nosed J, you've got another 8... 14x.50...? Sounds 2better than 12x.5 -and in the c model, it's more critical; the diff b/w 4 and 6... + a lot ...

It would be nice as an option, I'm just not sure how you would implement it in flight. Some new ctrl key combination perhaps?

It could be an option in the ordnance load out selection screen in the hanger.

I think his comment regards implementation of slaving the turret in flight. Ie, it's independent until the pilot commands it.

Were it implemented, I think the best way would be to just have it default to being locked forward, and when you hop in it, you have to turn it backwards.

And then what? if you return to position 1 it goes back to locked forward?

Makes sense to me. Maybe with a slight delay.
