Mmmmmmmmmmmm.........

Lamb and mutton is on the list of low saturation vitamin K foods I can eat while my doctor is thinning my blood just shy of becoming a bleeder.

I promise to turn in the garters and fishnets to the AH lost and found for you healthy fans of sheeply femininity. I'll even wash them to remove the fruit wood and thyme smoke smell from the BBQ.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm......... :devil

Then did you know cured roasted Ham has 0 vitamin K in it........... :bolt:

For too long have we been without our beloved. The iconic animal that has made us what we are. The great white fluffy bundle of strength that guides our machines of war, and protects us with their impenetrable wall of wool.

We must have our sheep!

I of course have nothing but honorable intentions. As for the rest of these guys, you probably don't want to know.

From Wikipedia:

The Woolys U.S. Army Sheep was bred from 1941 to 1945. These small four-legged conjugal mammals are considered the iconic World War II Sheep, and inspired many similar light utility mammals. The World War II Sheep later evolved into the "SheJ" civilian Sheep.

For us newbies, how did this sheep thing get started?  I haven't a clue what the joke is about sheep.  Does anyone know?

Few years ago there were body building sheep in the game.   They could stop a king tiger it's tracks

For us newbies, how did this sheep thing get started?  I haven't a clue what the joke is about sheep.  Does anyone know?

A rough history of Air Warrior circa: mid-1990's, our fascination with sheep, the transition to AH and who we are and why we fight today.

Once upon a time in a sim far far away there lived three countries separated by water.  They were know as the AZ, BZ and CZ and they lived happily in their own little lands.

Then, one day, an AZ snuck across the bridge below the mountainous pyramids into CZ land and stole a sheep.  Amazed at the human-like qualities of the CZ sheep, more AZ snuck over in the dead of night until CZ land was nearly depleted of its sheep.

The CZ, not knowing it was the AZ rustling their sheep, and getting grouchy over their lack of intimacy, immediately blamed the BZ who were, after all, known as "furballers" but the jig was soon over when it was discovered that the AZ were hiding a large heard of sheep deep in AZ land near the Spit factory.  Both the CZ, wanting the return of their sheep, and the BZ, upset over being the ones blamed for the rustling, attacked the AZ, and thus began a war and the habit of two countries ganging up on one.

Then, the evil empire, EA Sports, took over the world of AZ, BZ and CZ.   Soon realizing their mistake with the growing hostilities between the countries and the incessant server loads caused by the "<Insert player name here> has just pawned you" macros initiated by each player after each and every kill, they n00ked the lands of the AZ, BZ and CZ.

Lost on the interweb, the forlorn AZ, BZ and CZ searched for a new home with their 56K modems.  Even though they were hostile to one another, the word quickly spread from country to country that there was a new land called AH where clouds actually filled the sky.

One by one, then in ever growing numbers, the AZ, BZ and CZ moved into AH Land and settled, but the hostilities over the sheep rustling were never forgotten.  Because of this, the AZ settled mostly as Bish, the BZ settled mostly as Rooks, and the CZ settled primarily as Knits, although a few took the opportunity to switch alliances.

Once settled in, they couldn't help but continue thier fight and that's how the war started.

even seen old movies of ww2 taking off on grass fields in England?   the sheep were used to keep it short.  in Aw there were always sheep in the airfields keeping the grass short.

once somebody decided that it was more fun to take the field for the sheep then the war started.

Back in AH1, with my engine dead and looking for a field to land in. I noticed below me a large flock of sheep. Did you know "flock" comes from Olde English "flocc" meaning group? Anyway I looked down seeing all of these sheep lined up in neat patterns across the field. I decided to ditch there to admire the sheep. I misjudged my approach, and rolling up to the first sheep. I could see my wing would hit the sheep. I thought, poor little sheep. A moment later with a loud crashing sound effect, that sheep ripped my wing off and pitched my plane on it's back. A whole field full were arrayed behind it........

AH sheep are made of indestrucabletanium and are as strong as the Hulk. So why do we want them back?

Sheep fiercely defend the flock. If you scare a flock by landing among them they can rip a human apart in a matter of seconds.

In AH1 I also remember than when you died, for a split second between moment of death and waking up in the tower you had a vision of sheep. I never really understood what that screen meant. Sheep are an integral part of WWII air combat gaming and an important tradition. They should be re-introduced to the game and make a doppler shifted "baaahhhhaaaa" sound when you fly low over them.
