Okay, this one's quick and dirty addition and is something we actually had years ago:
the ability to have two people man a tank. One guy guns, one guy drives. This was a LOT
of fun years back and I'd like to see it re-implemented.
Another thing we had years back which was really pretty neat was an "F3 view" in
ground vehicles. Bombers get it with the rationale/justification being that it is
replicating the fact that there were multiple positions in a bomber. Well, tanks
had multiple crew positions as well.
Flame away boys. :)

I'm against it.

F3 was taken away from GVs because it was being used to look over terrain that was blocking line of sight from the vehicle.

Have to say no to this one. The commander system for controlling a tank, does the job fine. I would rather have 10 tanks in a battle instead of 5.
As to comparing views enjoyed by defensive air gunners to the sights offered to only a small group of men inside a tank, is a little silly. The current commander view that can be used in the middle of a battle offers far greater SA then most tank commanders could ever dream of.

Indeed. This takes away from the advantage some of the AFV's had or did not have in WWII due to their height. Taking away the F3 arcade view helps differenciate the gv's that much more. Waht to be tall and proud and peer over hedge rows easy? Take an M4. Want to be low and stealthy? Then take a Jagdpanzer. etc.
No F3.
The ability of a tank to have two players in it would be nice, but I'm not fretting either way. :)

Of course you are. What I admired most of your reply was the well thought out and detailed
description of the points you found lacking merit.
Your insights are very much appreciated.

While the game play issues can be discusses for ever there is another issue that has to brought in. All of the vehicles they have added since then don't have drivers seats. Without having to add all that art work it made it quicker and easier to add more vehicles. Your asking them to redo all those vehicles.
If not, then all your asking for is a second player to jump in your tank. I think there are some very skilled tankers out there that already have an advantage over me, now you ask to make it 2 vs 1 in a tank against me. You ticked off at me bro? :D I think too many would see it as a gang mode, or use it that way.
The same goes for the F3 mode. It just makes it too easy. Leave a little challenge in the game.

It is perfectly logical that a multiple-crewed vehicle have the option of allowing additional players to join. +1
Nay to F3 view in ANY plane or vehicle though.
