Title: Junior Burchenal's Flying Tigers Warbird School

Blast from the past here...   Great write up on the SNJ and Pony.   I visited his field in Paris, Texas after most of his collection was gone.  The F-86D out front was a sight to behold under the awning of an abandoned truck stop.

Amazing that he flew so many planes into that short strip...

Glad to do it.  I was apparently born a few years too late.   What a blast it would have been to take this training....
