I apologize if this has been covered. I have a Logitech Wingman Steering wheel with pedals and my Saitek Twisty stick. Is there a way to map Pitch/Roll/Throttle to my Stick and Rudder to my Pedals on a different controller? Spent a little time trying and could only get one side Rudder working. It was an either/or situation. The game sees my pedals as two different inputs (Accelerator and Brake).
Again, sorry for the n00b question.

Pedals for flight simulation have essentially three potentiometers (or sensors): left toe brake (pushing down on left pedal), right toe brake (same for right), and rudder (pushing forwards or backwards on both pedals together). You apparently have automotive simulation pedals which have only two sensors (i.e. the two associated with toe brakes for flight pedals). Trying to map your pedals for use as rudder control would require you mix two sensors into a single rudder control. I don't think AH can do that.

There seems to be some mapping capability for toe brakes separate from Rudder. I was unable to map the rudder directions independently. The game sees two control inputs (pedals) but only allows the 'Rudder' control to be mapped to a single control input. I wonder if there is a way to split the rudder control into two, directional inputs?
Thank you for the reply :)

Some pedals have a switch on them to switch it from a double axis, to a single axis. Right now your is set as a double, gas and brake, or brake and one side of a rudder. Check to see if your can be switched. Then the game will see them as a single axis for both pedels and you'll be able to set them as rudders.

I'll check that, thank you sir.

Analog CH pedals had a switch on the pedals. Logitech has a box you can check in software in the game controller properties settings.

This.
I used to use my Saitek R440 pedals for rudder and that also included switching from two to one axis in Windows Game Controller properties. Back then many rally sims couldn't handle two axises, meaning that revving the engine with the brake pedal pushed wasn't possible. Actually that meant that braking was simply a negative form of acceleration! IIRC some games used the same for reversing, too.

Yep, found the setting in the Windows controller settings. Thank you sir. I'll try it out later tonight.

Glad you got it set. Don't forget to calibrate the pedals in Aces High.
