And what is it to be?
Here it is about to become October, a couple months after the Pacific battle, and I don't see any info or projections on the next scenario. I might be under the mistaken impression from long ago that one happened every 3 months or so (i.e. 3 or 4 per year). Given the usual ramp up for game planning, C.O. finding, war strategizing, pilot signup, and general discussion and mission planning, I'd have thought to have seen something definitive on the next battle by now.
Please clue me in if I'm in error.
And let's not forget. I big WAY-TO-GO and atta boys, to the Masters of Scenarios for that last, and innovative event. Very well done IMO. Danke!

Part of the lack of announcement has to do with the upcoming update.
On the one paw, if it fubars the terrains, any planning at this point would be wasted time.
On the other paw, I am sure that the scenario team has another wonderful surprise floating around in the back of their heads just waiting to be put together for us.
I would bet you are not the only one waiting with baited breath for an announcement, but am positive it will well be worth the wait.
Flying with you and against you is always a pleasure, and in your sights or on your wing, I am positive we will see each other when it does happen.

The team is in the process of developing 2 major campaigns. The foundations are based in securing victories, acquiring resources and funding replacement equipment. Each field location, each gun, each object and travel time is built into the design.
The new version under development may or may not impact everything we have done, and we have no way of knowing what the end result will be as the system is all new. We have to accept some level of substantial change as the game engine is going to be new (and amazing I might add).
At some point in the very near future, I will have to commit the team to moving forward with the first of the two complex events, or just table it and run a prior scenario that is completely dependent on the air to air element alone with no impact at all should the field locations or base configurations change.
There will be an event announcement shortly.

I am probably canceling my account in the next few weeks, school has a great toll on my time. I hope this scenario is soon though, I will need an excuse to re-activate my account.

Yea Arlo, that is the game board style event we are working on :) It's going to be a BLAST!
Although, just to be safe, I think we are about to settle on a less dramatic event while the new version is under construction just to make sure we don't have a massive complex event dependent on specific placement of objects or ground gun counts.
So it looks like the next one will be the more familiar escorted bomber campaign and then we roll out a very interesting concept in the spring. Just a note for the spring, you're going to need coffee, lots and lots of coffee.
