Anyone have a ballpark idea as to what it will take to run the upcoming "New" Aces High update with all the bells and whistles? Video card, ROM, all the works to run smoothly? I know I will have to update my Tower soon with it being nearly 5 years old with just above average toys inside the box at the time of purchase. Currently running standard speed, nothing over clocked. Don't know much about the hardware so in response please dumb it down a hair :aok
I know of plenty sites and locations to purchase from, just looking for most recommended setup at a "fair" price. Not looking for bottom of barrel stuff or top shelf, just a happy medium setup.
Thanks.

It's too early to publish system requirements.

Post over in the "Hardware and software" threads. You'll get more help in getting a new computer. Basically build as big as you can afford. Building yourself makes it cheaper still and so you can add more to it. You build a monster now and it should last you 5 years like the last one did.
Good Luck.

We are not ready to commit to announcing the hardware requirements. It is still a bit early. The only suggestion I can provide, right now, is shoot for a video card which has 2GB, or more, of video RAM, if you want to run the game with every option enabled. That should be ample for whatever we do.

You will need at the very least an Intel 8086 (required) or a 486DX2 (preferred). I think you should also have a sound card for in game communication and 2 floppy drives so you can make copies for your friends.
