Title: Does AH/HiTech have any intention....

...of listening and responding to any of the requests by their clients?

The game has reached near implossion and you simply worry about eye candy. Do you have research that shows the difference between life and death will change the trajectory of the virtual skies? I've read that this is a side gig for GrapeVine, Texas....it shows.

The OP had a ruff weekend in the MA. Game play is getting worst and those looking to play any other way the horde run the map are having a harder time to find that game play.

On Mindanao map Saturday night the attack was focused on 44..... surprise ! Rooks had 20-30 guys in GVs trying to cap the town and resupply. Mean while Bishops and Knights were coming in with 20-30 guys working the town and occasionally a hanger or two. Defense from the air was useless as most were low other than the "pickers" circling like vulchers over a corpse. It pretty much was BnZ attacks on buffs and goons while dodging pickers. Attackers had low buffs dieing most every run to repeat over and over. Fighters tried to drop GVs for easy kills while dodging the BnZers, not a real fight any where.

No missions, no attempts at an organized defense, all on Mindanao which with a bit or organization bases can be rolled pretty quick.

While the graphics update will help, tweaking game play is a must if people are going to WANT to stay and subscribe.

I agree, I just don't know how we're supposed to change the gameplay with most of the players not even caring.

And the fugitive, if you want people to organize in ways that you like.  You have to inspire them into wanting to follow you and you have to lead them.  Honestly it gets to be a headache.

A big part of what makes Aces High a lot of fun is the sandbox environment.  On days that the game is not fun we can also blame the sandbox environment.

When I get back later this week you'll see me looking for these fights so I can get accused of picking.

And it was a blast! A hard fought battle that didn't vaporize at the first sight of resistance and dragged on for hours! Thats so effin rare these days, I hadn't had that much fun in a long long time, even when I was vulched on touchdown.

Long time ago I signed on for that kind of stuff, and not for chasing single cons across empty sectors or having a series of 1v1 duels and pretend it's "massive multiplayer".

The problem is that instead of playing with all the toys, every one is playing with the same one.....over and over again.

Sure the "battle" if that is what you want to call it was fun and hard fought. But if that isn't the type of play you want..... like the OP your screwed. Sure I got a bunch of kills, but I only had a couple real "fights", which is what I want when I play.

I've got an idea! Perhaps HT should have a separate arena for those who hate the way the game is played by the players that play in the MA. Call it something snazzy like the 'Dueling Arena' or something.

Aw, C'mon. It's not like the old tired 'The sky is falling and HT doesn't like us and .... blah blah blah' isn't comparable. It's a valid observation. (Ya ingrate.)  :D

I suppose you're correct about at least one thing.  The sky isn't falling.

That honor has been saved for the number of players in the MA throughout all hours of every day.

Active accounts or hours played per subscription? I wonder if both will see an increase when HT finishes the graphics upgrade that so many said was needed or the world would end?

The OP was not clear as to why he felt the need to post his opinion that HTC doesn't care about the game or the game's subscribers. His somewhat picturesque prediction of the demise of the game had absolutely nothing of concrete value attached to it. Fugi provided a reason, an example .... that involved a long-drawn-out battle but game play that neither he nor (supposedly) the OP could stomach. And this is supposed to be something that can be corrected by HT.

But then .... it has already been stated that HT doesn't care. What a rather lazy though convenient method to prop up one's own frustrations.

What I'm not seeing is a shred of constructive suggestion.

Oh, and some thicker skin on some of the squeakier wheels.

 :salute :D

It was a good time had by all...matter of fact then entire time I played this weekend was a blast...but like I have said many times...I can find a fight when there are 50 people logged in or I can find a fight when there are 500 people logged in (the good ol' days)...If you can't find a fight or your kind of fight maybe you should go bake a cake or something...take up bird watching...start a window sill herb garden...because you have no intention on trying to have a good time with this game...and coming to these boards and starting these threads.......I'm going to go find something to do  :bolt:

Well yes the numbers will go up for a couple months as the old AH lurker player base wil come, but they will burn out and numbers will go back to being low.
