Hey guys,
I got my second android app up in Google Play. It's free this time since I now know how Google handles the cash.
It's a tip calculator with a tongue-in-cheek twist so if you feel like checking it out it would help my rankings:

Thanks,
- sudz
PS an easier way to get to it on your phone is to search for "stewart st john" and check under the Apps section

sudz, there's a bug with option "my experice with my server". you can make multiple selections and sometimes it will increase but if you scroll up or down then everything gets deselected but still leaves you a percentage.

Yeah - mostly Java with a lot of the android SDK doing the work.

Those looks like fun Sudz.
Have you ever looked at http://phonegap.com/ (http://phonegap.com/)?
If you know Java, JavaScript would be easy. It would give you cross-platform. For utils apps like your tip calculator.
I'm currently digging into learning the 2D version of http://unity3d.com/ (http://unity3d.com/).
So far I'm very impressed and its heaven to just be able to program in C#. I spent a year learning ObjectiveC and it was interesting, but I won't miss it. :)
