Those two are even bad form here in the U.S. when going for an interview.

In all honesty though, even most low end apartments have some sort of foyer to take your shoes off before walking around the apartment. Number 5 is kind of irreverent.

Japanese fishermen who catch dolphins in tuna nets.
They do it with sharks, too, for soup.
