Tonight was like the 3rd one this your like 2 or more of you guys find me. :old:

When I see 262s hanging about I have the overpowering urge to wast 250 perks to fight them on even ground... but they never want to fight. They only run... I'm not even that good in a fight, they could win. :(

We've been taking up a packs of 262's to counter the enemy 262's or any other nom nom target that happens to wander in on our target area lol

Yes I'm so upset I couldn't find you all. I reupped in a 163 but HQ was down, was near hopeless.

This is why you bring 4 squadmates with you in 262's and all 5 of you corner the bugger. You think it is funny when they panic and run from 1 262? Try it with 5 and try not to auger as you laugh hysterically :D

Actually, I think we have gone at it in 262s before... if it wasn't you, then it must have been your wing man. I still got my bellybutton whooped though. :uhoh

I did that last night almost 3.5 sectors. Try to get a few kills get nothing. On my way home low on fuel. Then I see bombers in distance. Set up for a perfect 10 o'clock to 4 o'clock run. Kill one bomber but on the way by lazer oils both engines. Made home 2.5 sectors. One of those I hope I make it home times.

The 262 pilots the hardest to shoot down 262 v 262 use their flaps and risk getting slow. That's why you have a hammer flying just outside of the 262 on 262 turn fight. Then he drops the hammer on the low, slow, flaps out DA style ACM 262. But, first you need your wolf pack to corral him before he DDs on home at 650 with his belt full of your countrymen's scalps.
1 to turn him.
1 to drag him.
1 to engage him.
1 to keep him turning.
1 hammer to end the nonsense.
And you need a large enough squad to have forward air control keying up on the map to vector your wolf pack to the running enemy 262. And even bait it into hanging around. Hmmmm.....is this Aces High or Viet Nam??

That is the way to deal with the hair driers. If you up a 262 and kill the other 262 he will come back. If you come with 5 262s and beat him senseless, he will not. :old:
If they come back with 5 262s of their own - crazy fun!

I ran into their 262's once and at first I didn't see them but I heard them...
I broke and ONLY saw TWO. . . I was handling the two enough to where I had an escape route. . .
Then 3 mins later 4 more 262's at 11k come and at that moment I knew. . .I was screwed lol
I couldn't even scramble Top Gun fast enough to get help

I think Waystin has found a fun way for all us old vets to use up our gazillions of perks.
Me 262 circuses. It will only take a week or two to die down. Yeah massive B29 missions with 30 262 escorts through 262 infested countrys................. :airplane:
Look at SHawk now blowing bomber perks every night on B29 boxes. I've been getting at least one of them every time I see him with a manned 37mm.
There is a downside to saturating the MA with 262 for too long. People will log off rather than have to worry about being hoarded by 500mph uber cannon speed demons. Not many players have enough perks to blow on repeated all night 262 flights. So it will be about 10-15 of us on all three sides killing everyone's fun and making them log for the night. And you remember what HiTech did about the JSO that got us ENY over night because players were logging off and canceling subscriptions. We need the numbers we have.

Oh well, POTW will be remembered at least for starting the 262 "circus scourge". This might actually cause the old guard muppets to climb out of their coffins and show these posers just how to scourge with a 262. Lye soap and a stiff brush with wire bristles.
