Title: VidMem Snag

Hi.... Wondering if someone could help?

Installed a new video card (GTX780 - 3 GIG memory).  Upgrade from a GFX275

My system specs:  SEE ATTACHED
Properties on my new card : See attached


As you can see....... Aces High program is telling me that I onlt have 173Meg of VidMem....... when it should be 3072Meg

Can anyone help ??

I asked a few players in the game, and their VidMem was relective of what they had onboard their vid card.

I've reloaded drivers....no change

Wiped Operating System...and reloaded Windows..... same VidMem reading as in the screencapture.

Just want to make sure that this new card is defective or not.

Any help appreciated.

AFAIK Windows, or some versions, do not report the vid memory accurately in AH. It makes no difference to performance.

I'm surprised you only show 3 GB RAM for system memory.

Ya... fixing that today.   :)

Ran 3 GIG with a 1 GIG card for years. Hense my rotten K/D ratio     :D
