I normally don't sign up until I've carefully read the rules.
After a thorough search, I've reached the conclusion that in the absence of any rules being obviously posted, there will just be a guy that says "Let's get it on!" right after the door to the cage is locked.
Given such circumstances I registered immediately.

Hahaha I just sent Redtail a message asking about the write up and noticed the link. I think he just put it up, I swear it wasn't there before ;) :rofl
I'm flying Axis, and will probably wait to see what teams are needing an extra body. Almost smashed the register button where Stampf signed up but then thought, heck he'll have an overflow on that team so I'll wait.

Unfortunately not, adobe provides the most access for most people. I don't have a web site to post the text by itself. A single post has a 10,000 word limit and the write-up grossly exceeds that. Your smart phone should be able to view it if your PC can't.

I love the plane set.
I am confused as to the time frame though. Why so long? Such a large window (November 43 - June 44) creates problems with aircraft assigned to certain squads. As of September 1944, the only Luftwaffe units left in Italy were I/JG 77 and II/JG 77. So that is why I assume June is the end of the frame, not to mention Rome was captured June 4 which was the objective anyway. I would like to hear your thoughts on this, basically (which month - which month) is the scenario supposed to represent?
As a side note, IV/JG 4 should not be in this event. They were created in October, 1944 and remained in Germany for the entirety of its existence.

P.S. Minor Spelling issue: San Seveno on the write up should be San Severo. Happens to everyone.

The same men and the machines were there. Though they went by the name II./JG 5.

Yep. I am corrected. It was Northern France at the time.

However there were JG 5 members in Italy. 14.(Jabo)/JG 5 moved to Italy in late May of 1944 but were wrapped into II/SG 4 in June. II/SG 4 would leave Italy for the Eastern Front on July 1, 1944.

I have registered to axis side (I./JG53) and have adviced other finns to do so as well... let's see if 109g-6 (the plane that once defended our borders) get's finnish pilots on the move and to dust off their controllers... :)

I did a little research to see who was in the squadron. But really I see them flying a LOT of 109G, but the scenario has them flying A5s. Are 109G10s and 190A5s the same aircraft? And could someone point me to a bio of that squadron please?

Another point. Why not make the bombers have to manually calibrate. They're already outnumbering the Axis. I understand the point equally thing. I like that. But IF the bombers decide to go up at 25k.. Everyone here knows it's extremely tough to kill bombers at that high of an altitude. Especially with the frequency of the 190s Engine oil hits.

109G10 is a K4 with gondies. I am not all sure the squadrons are historically correct cause 4.JG4 flew K4's and G10's. I didn't know they flew 190A5's let alone 190's at all but I may be wrong.

Anyway - I half jest with you and it has always been JG 11's M/O to invite 1 or 2 non squad members to fly Scenario's with us. Currently at 11/12 with yourself and 1ijac making up the non JG 11 members. If the 4th of the 4th is indeed the unit you wish to participate with - then Welcome aboard. I am sure it will be an experience that sticks with you.

A good deal of us finns have made their registration. But in order to clarify things, one of the registered pilots under I./JG53 made some error and instead of his nickname "JussiKOO" the name in the list is shown as ",".
If possible can this be changed if necessary?

What have you been smoking? So far Axis outnumbers Allies 35 to 10. Maximum numbers allowed don't matter much if nobody shows up for the Allies. I hope more people will choose to sign up for the lowest numbered side, these events are a lot more fun when the numbers are more even.

I was assuming that slots will be filled. These current numbers don't matter much because it's still the first day of registration...

Allied bombers. I believe B26s. I know I registered successfully, probably under my game name "bombrich". I know the spots were all taken so please open mine back up to one who wants to fly. Best wishes to the Yank bomber pilots.
