First travel the world looking for particular flights. I like this one first http://www.flightradar24.com/42.05,-88.86/9 .  This one does the same but with a little different info packet http://flightaware.com/live/flight/RPA4324 . Then I like to go here http://www.airliners.net/aircraft-data/ and find out more about the aircraft type. I'm shamed to say I dont know much about commercial aircraft but I'm learning now. Enjoy.
